Yes.  I haven't gotten anything in the title!  Shoot me, please... sorry for the uannounced sabbatical, im in a computer-hating phase right now, mostly because of my pitiful 8 meg ram...although friday ill be running 32 meg so i should be happier and more "jacked in" than ever before...then i need to get a modem to replace my cranky 14.4... whats happened?  well, jenn came and went.  was a nice visit.  umm ive been basically working, schooling, attempting to defeat boredom, watching old Doctor Who episodes and the lastest Red Dwarf episodes (ive seen all of season 7 now, waiting for season 8 to finish production then get sent over here), going to bars with the few people i know...lessee...i know nate, derrick (spelling?), tom, chris, will, justin...an assortment of other employees at bruders, my coworkers mitch, keri, amanda, ex coworker dave (going to school in iowa city)... this past weekend was burlington heritage days; an excuse to close off jefferson street and sell beer mostly, but the live music was nice.  Lessee friday night...i had about six beers in rapid succession, a wandering security guy came up to me "You got a ride home tonight?" "Naw, I was gonna wait a while before I drove home." "Okay." he walks off.  I lean against a park bench (this is on jefferson street, in front of a band playing).  about 15 minutes later he comes back with another guy "Come walk with us." they proceed to walk me to the police station. "This guy needs a cab home." police officer says "You want to go to jail or have a cab?" "Cab." i reply cop "Did he give you any trouble?" security "He gave us no problem." i sit in the cop statio for a while (i was pretty wasted) cab arrived, i get driven home, pay the guy $5, scrawl a barely legible note for my parents, "called cab, car on jeff & 5th" luckily my parents mistook the note for saying my car was blocked off or something.  Im not about to explain to them that I got trashed, heh. and the weekend went downhill from there. well, not that bad, just that friday was the high point these past few weeks. the page redesign?  waiting on ram, i get a form of psychosis watching the hourglass icon and listening to the hard drive grind while i try to run photoshop... i got email from some guy...seems he found my page while using Excite search engine, under "toonami" subject.  offering to sell me some anime for cheap.  nice.  and im on a search engine!  and someone used it to find ME!  exciting. toonami...i think im going to, for my next big useless project, put together a little toonami page...info on the shows, scheduling, ect. maybe.  depends if i can crank out graphics and gather enough info & pics. so basically thats been my life for the past few weeks.  nothings really changed. sigh
