"License Revoked, plus job gone full circle." well i got the library job.  everyone else seems to be thanking the gods, but im just saying "finally".  no more stealing change and counting recyclable cans for some cash.  odd, cause my first job was doing exactly what i will be doing; shelving books.  I got my Iowa license as well, but they took away my New York State license.  my last physical link to NYS gone.  in a sense.  I was sitting in my car about 10 minutes ago, listening to illuminati, drinking a beer and having a cigarette, wondering if ill make it in this new phase of my life, if ill succeed, if ill ever have a "successfull" relationship, when i saw a shooting star.  this is the third time in my life ive seen one.  a big sucker too...for a dust-sized burning meteroid.  i have a very strange mythology; if i can make a cig butt stand straight up in the ashtray, its good luck; if i have a sudden flash of inspiration or understanding, its a vision; if i see a shooting star, its a good omen, more so if im pondering a question and it appears right after ive asked.  something good is going to happen to me.  something very good, and rather soon.  i guess ill see.  i start my "training" thursday afternoon, 1:30pm-5pm (central time); i also informed my new boss, cindy, that jenn is flying in from vermont for three days on friday morning.  cindy let me skip the next training session (friday 8am); not a real biggie since ive done this before.  shelving is like riding a bicycle; you never forget, and you can have those streamer things on your handlebars.  wait, thats not right... anyway, im going to have cash.  that means smokes, beer, bar hopping, coffee, and eventually a brand-spankin' new playstation.  since i filled out a customer comment card that fell out of a playstation box i was giving to a customer at TRU, ive been on the illustrious playstation mailing list; so far ive gotten three free issues of Next Generation; my favourite magazine, a couple pieces of promotional literature for the release of new psx games, some ads for hint lines, and just two days ago i got the first issue of a playstation magazine (published by Imagine, who publishes Next Gen and PC Gamer), plus a free years subscription (i hope) cause the mag just started.  since sony has given me so much free stuff, i might as well buy one of their game machines, its only fair.  actually i was planning on doing so before i left New York, but then i got pulled over for doing 62 in a 40, and had to pay NYS $100....killing my savings for the most popular gaming platform in the world.  so hopefully ill get one in the next two months. all i have left to say is poop!
